Arkansas Zantac Lawsuit Attorney
Zantac, also known as Ranitidine, is a proton pump inhibitor used to treat heartburn.
Originally, the main concern with taking Zantac was that it could result in kidney failure.
Zantac cases now involve different types of cancers:
- Digestive tract cancers
- Liver failure
- Lung (non smokers)
- Prostate (64 or younger)
The criteria for a Zantac claim is as follows:
- Diagnosed at least 1 year after date of first use of Zantac;
- Must not have developed qualifying cancer as a result of any non-qualifying cancer;
- Must be diagnosed with qualifying injury within 20 years of last taking Zantac.
The FDA announced it is requesting manufacturers withdraw all prescription and over the counter Ranitidine drugs from the market immediately.
